It processes 4-page signatures with different workflows and produces glued book blocks with excellent flatness and a precisely shaped square spine – ideal for perfect binding, whether for Book-of-One or short runs.

The Starbook Sheetfolder adjusts automatically and rapidly to different book formats and page counts without requiring time-consuming setup processes. This makes it ideal for Book-of-One production as well as for short runs. The system can be operated inline with digital presses or nearline as a standalone unit.

High-Precision Light Grid – Sheet Control Down to the Last Detail
A key technical innovation is the newly developed light grid positioned at the infeed. It precisely detects the position and format of every incoming sheet, ensuring perfect alignment. Misfed or misaligned sheets are automatically identified and rejected. The result is consistently high book block quality and maximum process reliability. Configurations
The new Pallet Feeder IPF 75, the perfect complement to the Starbook Sheetfolder, feeds printed sheets directly from pallets—no manual pre-stacking required. This significantly reduces operator workload and increases overall efficiency.
A built-in sensor continuously monitors the lateral alignment of the stack. The automatic centering function ensures that every sheet enters the Starbook Sheetfolder perfectly aligned. With a maximum pallet height of 1.18 meters, the IPF 75 enables uninterrupted production for up to four hours.
