Simultaneous trimming of the paper in Hunkeler Web Merger WM8
The paper web provided by a printer or unwinder module is pulled in by the web merger WM8 and cut longitudinally. Thanks to the easy insertable knives, the paper can be trimmed simultaneously on one side or both sides of the web to the needs of the following post-processing. Edge trim width of 8 – 25 mm with a possible paper weight of 40 – 300 g/m2 can be processed. Also a gutter cut is possible. Waste produced during the edge trimming or from the gutter cut is collected by a funnel and removed by means of an external waste exhauster.
