Hunkeler Innovationdays firmly established as the international industry event
Lucerne, February 18, 2011 - Some clear trends were observed at this year's Hunkeler Innovationdays. The ninth edition of this event, which was held from February 14-17, 2011, was even better than its predecessors!
At the Hunkeler Innovationdays 2011, exhibitors and visitors unanimously agreed that the world's leading rendezvous for the digital printing market was an overwhelming success. For four whole days, an atmosphere of confidence and enthusiasm reigned in the new exhibition hall in Lucerne. There were visitors from practically all international markets, and company owners and managers seized this opportunity to gain a complete picture of the state of development in modern digital finishing.
As organizer of the Innovationdays, Hunkeler AG measures the success of the event according to visitor profiles, rather than the actual number of visitors. Nevertheless, the fact that, for the first time, over 5000 people flocked to this event can be considered a milestone in the history of the Innovationdays. Moreover, it is a clear indication of the impact of digital printing, which is attracting more and more interest in classical markets. In Lucerne, too, the undeniable growth of the industry was reflected in the increased number of exhibitors (from 60 to 80) as well as in the world innovations and several technological studies by leading printing and finishing concerns including Hunkeler AG.
Hunkeler Innovationdays is a win-win event that is unique in the world. Everyone - exhibitors and visitors alike - stands to gain when the world elite of digital printing and paper processing gathers in the exhibition hall for the presentation of a wide range of genuine, practice-oriented solutions.
The concept behind Innovationdays focuses on quality products and professional advice, and that is what makes this compact branch event unique. Once again, the Innovationdays lived up to its reputation as a leading venue for the industry. We would like to thank all our visitors and partners, and we are already looking forward to the next Innovationdays in spring 2013.
