PEM technology comes into its own
Contact-free paper web de-dusting via the PEM570 brings costs savings on many levels combined with high production security. Quite apart from the distinctly lower cleaning requirement and cleaner working environment, PEM technology brings a significantly longer life cycle for expensive printing heads, especially on ink jet printers by neutralizing static electricity. Contact-free paper web de-dusting proves most effective when the module is arranged immediately in front of the printing head. A PEM570 comprises two de-dusting heads for cleaning the paper web in continuous operating mode on both sides. At Ipex 2010 the web de-dusting module PEM570 is in use with the following partner exhibitors: Hunkeler AG, Stand 19-C710; Impika, Stand 11-C200.
Compact extraction HKU 2000/2010
At innovationdays.2009 Hunkeler Systeme AG presented the new compact extraction system HKU 2000, specially designed to meet the needs of the cutting module CS6. With an integrated chopper unit the system is suitable for extraction and disposal of the endless strips produced in the CS6. The all round solution has proved outstandingly successful on the market with 16 units introduced in 2009. At Ipex 2010, HKU 2000 demonstrates paper waste disposal behind the two new Hunkeler production lines on stand 19-C710. Hunkeler Systeme AG has now doubled up with the HKU 2010: based on the successful HKU 2000 concept, this new model works without the chopper unit and is suitable for every application where the chopper is superfluous in compact extraction because of the size of the paper waste. The new HKU 2010 can be seen in operation on the Müller Martini stand 19-C750.
World first: compact extraction HKU 4510
The new mobile HKU 4510 now gives bookbinding works and computer centers using adhesive binding technology access to the powerful Hunkeler Systeme AG compact extraction concept. The vacuum principle enables the extraction air to be discharged into the environment after thorough cleaning. Thanks to its high capacity, the HKU 4510 can be used with up to three adhesive binders or as a central extraction facility on a number of production lines, each with one extraction point. At Ipex 2010 the HKU 4510 will be making its world debut on the Müller Martini stand 19-C750.
