Offcut print with the CS6-IIThe high performance cutter CS6-II is a key component. More than 100 of these modules are being used today in the inline process with color printers or as offline solutions in mailing production. The two independently driven cross-cutting cylinders permit variable cutouts in the 3.2 to 70 mm range. In conjunction with up to 5 longitudinal cutting knives, print products can be made in a range of format lengths with all round offcut print or in one, two, three or four copies from a single sheet.

These options are used today primarily in high grade mailing production and to some extent also in computer centers at banks and insurance companies for transpromo printing or to cut out the flush line when working within jet printers.

Two other outstanding features for economy and quality are the auto-register function for absolutely accurate positioning of the cross-cut on paper webs without remaliner punching and for the automatic elimination of unprinted pages via the integral spoiled paper separator.
