VARIWEB with RFID: new market opportunities In the summer of 2003, Taiyodo Printing equipped its state-of-the-art production facility in Chiba City with Japan's first Variweb system. The installation has been configured with new components for the inline application of RFID transponders. This 50-employee company sees the new technology as a developing opportunity to tap as yet unknown application areas for customers in the forms and security printing business.
